About Orangevale Weather
Orangevale Weather is a personal weather station located in Orangevale, California, approximately 15 miles northeast of downtown Sacramento. The station provides real-time observations 24/7 along with historical data, climatological summaries, and educational weather information.
Data Reporting
- Temperature, dew point, relative humidity, and barometric pressure are instantaneous samples taken at the observation time.
- Wind speed is reported according to the National Weather Service standard. Sustained wind is a 2-minute average, while wind gust is the highest wind speed observed during the previous 10 minutes.
- Wind direction is reported as a 1-minute average.
- Rainfall and daily high and low values reset automatically at midnight each day.
